Care Hires exists to help Care Providers and Staffing Agencies work together more easily, providing a holistic solution that makes operations more efficient. But what does this mean in practice? Well here are the 5 C’s of Care Hires, 5 of the main benefits that the system brings to its users.

Control

Many Care Providers find that their finance and management team can have difficulty monitoring spend on temporary staff, difficulty understand what is being spent where, and so on. Sometimes they don’t even know about a shift until the invoice arrives, which then requires investigation.

The Care Hires system gives all levels of user, from front-line staff to managers, complete transparency. And because only authorised staff using the system can book in new shifts, Providers have much closer control over their hiring practices.

Completion of Jobs

One of the key differences between Care Hires and other neutral vendors is that we take proactive steps to match Providers with agencies capable of meeting their requirements, and to actively recruit new agencies if needed, with the aim of getting 100% of all shifts posted to completion.

Making sure that every shift posted is filled is our highest priority, and an objective we design our whole strategy around, delivering a service that is robust and reliable.

Compliance

Making sure that the staff who are booked to a shift are legally qualified to do it is something which the Care Hires system handles before any shifts are booked. As a member of Agency staff is added to the system, their qualifications must be added and verified. Later as shifts are posted, only those whose qualifications match those required for the shift can even be put forward to fill it. This level of safeguarding ensures that all the staff sent to our Care Providers have been fully vetted long in advance of their arrival.

Criteria

There are also criteria other than simple qualifications which may be needed for a specific shift or service. Sometimes there may be a preference for a person of specific gender, sometimes a specific individual who already knows the Care users concerned, or the nuances of best practice at a particular location. Whatever the requirement, Care Hires allows Providers to request these, and to select specific individuals for whichever shifts they are able to fulfil.

Cost

Although the main drive behind the Care Hires system has always been about delivering quality of service, we are still help to drive down costs for our users.
